The Troglodyte Caves

I'm betting that the first time you look at this map you think "What the ...?" Basically the Caves are a maze and you need to be able to find your way around. You start at the Ancient Road and then move west into location '01'. Each location is listed as follows:

The number, or symbols, in the centre are the room number. Each number surrounding it is the room you would move into if you move in that direction. eg. If you move north from room '01' you'll move to room '03'. North from '03' would take you to room '12'.

The Caves are full of Troglodytes who can see invis and attack on site. they don't hit hard but you can end up fighting ten at a time as they call for reinforcements. I wouldn't recommend coming here until you can cope with ten 3k mobs at a time really.

There are four places in the maze really, two Troglodyte caves, a Lake and a River. The first cave can be reached from room '01' as follows: S, S, W, W. That'll put you in 'C2'. To return from there to '01' use E, N, E, N. The big black pot in the first caves can be quaffed and will heal you.

To get to the second caves from '01' use S, S, W, W, W, W, S, S, W. There is a trophy case in the second group of caves, hidden south and east from the Chief's private cave. I have firm reports that a finger bone is the correct key but no such object seems to exist in the zone any more! To get to Mage Valley Entrance from '01' use S, S, W, W, W, W, S, W, S, E. Finally to get to the Primary Riverbed from '01' use N, W, S, S, D.
